The Burlington Area Garden Club has awarded a Donna Kuzniar Memorial Scholarship to Cassie Loeffler. Cassie is a previous BACG scholarship recipient, and she attends the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point.
The Garden Club has also awarded a 2022 Garden Grant to the Burlington Senior Center in support of their efforts to build an ADA compliant vegetable and flower garden. The purpose of the project is to provide activities that promote socialization, exercise, and healthy food choices to persons 50 years of age and older.
The Burlington Area Garden Club raises scholarship and grant money through their annual plant sale. The Garden Grants program helps to fund local gardening projects.
